Emma and Michael had a beautifully romantic wedding at Casita Miro, Waiheke Island. Full of love, laughter, sangria, tapas and lots of rain! The last thing we expected after the amazing summer we had was torrential ALL DAY rain, but none the less it rained non-stop all day. The rain actually made for the most intimate indoor ceremony and dramatic beautiful photo session. And the the clouds decided to part just enough for us to sneak in a beautiful sunset shoot at Trig Hill lookout - and holy smokes, what a view!
Sahar and Ahmad had a fabulous wedding at the Cordis hotel. The evening was full of dancing and music. Sahar looked like a princess in her beautiful beaded gown.
Hannah and Lucas were married at Kauri Bay Boomrock. Blessed with literally the best backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony. After the ceremony we took a stroll around the grounds at the venue for our photo session, they enjoyed a picnic set to an epic playlist on the UE Boom, while we took photos amongst the gum trees. And later after a reception full of hilarious speeches we climbed up the hill for the most beautiful sunset shoot. Hannah's huge captivating smile and equally huge skirt billowing in the wind made for some pretty stunning shots.
Lucy and Clint had their beautiful laid back wedding at Old Forrest School in Pukehina. Set in a remote pine forrest we were spoilt for locations when it came to photos, and treated with a beautiful pink sunset as the day ended.
Charlotte and Ronan were married amongst the Olive tress at Bracu. I was so honoured to be a part of this special day with their family and closest friends. Charlotte just bursted with happiness the entire day and couldn’t of looked anymore stunning.
Monica and Michael were married at the beautiful St Patrick’s cathedral in Auckland City. Their location photos were split between the old Parnell train station - in it’s grand pink marble foyer, and the urban streets of Britomart, crowned in festoon lights as the sun started to drop in the sky.
Emily and EJ said their vows amongst the roses at the Parnell Rose Gardens. Followed by a reception in the amazing foyer at the Auckland Museum. It was easy to see these guys loved to party and party they did. Emily - an event planner - planned the whole wedding herself and what a fantastic job she did.
Holly and Will had a cosy winter wedding at One Cascade in Freemans Bay (The Blush Flowers event studio). Their intimate winter wedding was actually an engagement party that became a surprise wedding celebration. Complete with smoke bombs and a stunner winter sunset, what’s not to love?
